Nail studio · Bozeman, Montana

Your nails, done by window light.

A one-chair studio in a converted garage on South Black Avenue. I see one client at a time, so the hour is all yours.

Lynnette Granger

Owner and nail technician

I do nails at one table, in the light from the south window.

I turned my family's garage into a studio so my clients could have a quiet hour and no one waiting behind them. Most of the people in my chair work with their hands, around the valley and out on the ranches, and I keep the menu short and the manicures built to last through the week.

What I do most

  • Working-hands manicures
  • Natural nails and gel color
  • Soft-gel sets and fills
  • Simple pedicures

Slow days and busy days

Tuesday and Thursday are my slow days: shorter hours, a quieter room, and the easiest time to book a first visit or a long set.

One client at a time

No one is waiting behind you, and no one is next to you.

Every appointment is the whole hour with me, at one table by the window. I do not double-book, so the time you reserve is the time you get.

  • Appointments only, so no walk-ins

  • The same table and the same lamp every visit

  • Tuesday and Thursday are the quiet days

A time on every line

Manicures, pedicures and sets, with how long each takes.

Removal and add-ons

Book removal first if your nails were done somewhere else.

Lynnette sets her own prices, and they show when you book. Times are for a typical visit; length, shape and art can add to them.

What clients say

“I come in off the ranch with my hands a mess and leave with nails ready for the week. It is the quietest hour I get.”

Marcie A.Ranch family, Manhattan

“Lynnette never rushes. I booked a Thursday and it was just the two of us, with the window open and the radio low.”

Meri B.Bozeman

“I got a manicure so I would stop snagging hangnails on the fence. Nobody was more surprised than me. I go every month now.”

Questions

What people ask first

Do you take walk-ins?

No. I see one client at a time and by appointment only, so every visit has its own booked hour.

Is there a deposit?

No. You book a time and I hold it. Please tell me 24 hours ahead if you need to change it.

How long does a manicure take?

A natural manicure takes about 40 minutes and a gel manicure about an hour. Every line on the menu has its time.

I have short, hard-working nails. Can you still do them?

Yes. That is most of my day. The working-hands manicure is made for short nails and hands that do real work.

What if a nail lifts or chips early?

Tell us within a few days and we'll make it right.

Where do I park?

There is a gravel lot beside the garage, with room for three cars.
